- What on EARTH is wrong with Gamestop's online store?!? Even if it did work, it doesn't give you a balance read-out, so it's kind of creepy, because I have no way.
- We have tried pinging GameStop website using our server and the website returned the above results. If gamestop.com is down for us too there is nothing you can do except waiting. Probably the server is overloaded, down or unreachable because of a network problem, outage or a website.
Security Update. At GameStop, the security of our customers' payment card data remains a top priority. GameStop recently received notification from a third party that it believed payment card data from cards used on the GameStop.com website was being offered for sale on a website. Gamestop.com website will not load using Internet Explore 9 32-bit or 64-bit on Windows 7 64-bit OS. Chrome & Firefox work just fine. I tried IE8 on Win XP and it works there too, But will not load.

Gamestop Website Error
On Tuesday I submitted an order at Gamestop for a New 3ds XL. There was a hiccup during checkout with an error:
'Oops! We've encountered a problem processing your order. We have not charged you and your order has not been placed. Please try again or contact Customer Care at 1-800-883-8895 .'
When I tried submitting my order again, it went through. The next day I got an email stating that the order couldn't go through because the card was declined by my bank. The email recommended that I take it up with my bank who told me there was no lock on my account.
Following Gamestop's instructions, I tried updating my credit card information on the order page. After updating the information and submitting the order again, I got an email 5 minutes later telling me the order couldn't go through again.
Gamestop's final recommendation was cancelling the order and trying again. I canceled the order and put the items back in the shopping cart and filled out my shipping and billing information again. This time, I can't get past the final page of 'Payment Options'. I get the same error:
Oops! We've encountered a problem processing your order. We have not charged you and your order has not been placed. Please try again or contact Customer Care at 1-800-883-8895 FREE.
I've currently been on hold with Gamestop customer support for the last hour. Is there some reason I can't place the order? This isn't the first time I'm shopping online with Gamestop.
